Following on from his recent remix of their first ever teaming up, “I Got Burned”, Lance Ferguson has twisted, teased-out and royally reverberated the ‘Space & Time Dub’ out of FRP album track “A Long Year” in a way that recalls prime ‘early ‘80s downtown NYC when superstar Rock bands would invite finger on the pulse dance producers to rework their tracks to be released on “Extended Play” twelve inch singles to get spun at the basement nightclubs that they’d frequent.

We always like to look forward...but as we reach 25 years in the game this year it feels like a good time to take a look back. We cherish those memories of music, shows, recordings, albums and tours - but above all and everything else - it's all about the wonderful human beings around the world that we've had the great pleasure and honour to meet, perform with, play to and (hopefully) give something.

Finally! Tim and I are so looking forward to taking this album to the stage. The handful of shows we’ve done have been so much fun.

As Tim recently said “Friends that I've had for ages who saw our first show said that it was just joy watching people dance, ‘cause it doesn't happen often at You Am I shows, at Hard-Ons shows” he continues.

“Playing something with dancing, you can just forget about the woes of this challenging world that continues to unfurl in challenging ways, and you're in a room with people and actually letting them just freak out for a bit. It's one of those times where you feel you're actually doing something completely worthwhile.”

NEW ALBUM 'L'OCEAN DE TOI' ANNOUNCED - PRE-ORDER LP/CD/DL / NEW TRACK OUT NOW

Lance will release the album L'ocean de toi on digitally on March 28th and oh April 4th on LP/CD on Pacific Theatre Records. It's his newly scored soundtrack for the long lost 1981 French film of the same name.
The second track from the album, "The Swimming Pool" is out today.
