To mark it's 10th anniversary this 2016 album will be on LP for the first time in a limited edition deluxe gatefold sunset swirl coloured vinyl edition, with each pressing having a unique pattern.

This lush, beat-laden journey through Exotica, The South Seas and the Golden Age of tropical travel is sure to connect with fans of Air, DJ Shadow and Martin Denny. Guest vocals came from Melanie Pain (Nouvelle Vague) and Meg Washington.

“Over the last decade quite a few people have said to me that ‘The Double Sunrise’ is their favourite album of mine, which has been heartwarming as the record has always been a very personal one for me - It’s the sound of me trying to reconcile various aspects of my life history, family legacy, heritage and musical influence into one piece. I’ve had the real honour of having this music touch some people’s lives: When my dear Mum passed away in 2024, my family chose the last song on the album “Down” as the one to close out her service. I also received a beautiful letter from a Dad in the UK whose young autistic son had become fixated on the song “Nightmarchers”, playing it over and over again to calm himself and relieve anxiety. As personal as this music might be for me, the very nature of its themes and aesthetic is geared to be transformative and transportive for the listener. Let it take you places! It’s so great to have this one finally available on vinyl.”
